The PT2 is a high-performance stereo preamplifier, which includes a high-performance stereo FM tuner, a generous number of inputs for line-level analogue sources, a built-in DAC with plenty of digital inputs for all of your digital audio sources, including a high-resolution asynchronous USB input and a built-in AptX HD capable Bluetooth receiver, and a high-performance phono preamp that supports both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges. The PT2 can be operated via the simple front panel controls, or by the included infrared remote control. The intuitive menu system makes the PT2 simple to configure and operate, and the large bright blue VFD display on the front panel is easy to read and shows you exactly what’s going on at all times. Sound Quality First
The BasX PT2 is a high-quality audio device with an optimized circuit layout, low distortion, wide bandwidth, and a silent noise floor. It uses pure analogue inputs for switching, volume, and tone control, and precision digital conversion is provided by the Analog Devices AD1955 24/192k DAC. The built-in FM tuner has 15 station presets and a Mono mode for easy listening to even weak stations.

Flexible Input and Output Options
The PT2 is a high-performance audio system with multiple inputs, including analogue and digital, and a built-in Bluetooth receiver. It supports sample rates and bit depths up to 24/192 and features an independent headphone amplifier for high-quality signal. The PT2 can be used in two-channel systems with separate outputs for main speakers and a powered subwoofer, or in a high-performance 2.1 channel system with separate outputs for main speakers and a powered subwoofer. It also features a built-in high-performance Bluetooth receiver and active 12 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley filters. The built-in Bluetooth receiver supports Bluetooth 5 and AptX and AAC.

The BasX PT2 is a versatile audio system with a large, easy-to-read blue VFD display that provides configuration information and can be dimmed for intimate listening. Its flexible menu system allows easy access to all important features. The front panel features a Volume Control knob with precision-crafted knurling and a soft blue glow from the active light, or you can control the output level from your chair using a remote control. The unique Balance control adjusts both channels simultaneously, ensuring constant sound levels. The intelligent Volume control remembers settings on headphone output and main outputs, ensuring no surprises when connecting and disconnecting headphones. Bass and Treble controls provide a familiar way to adjust the system to your liking. The FM Tuner allows you to tune FM stations manually or assign favourite stations to channel presets. All features can be operated from the front panel controls or the included infrared remote control.
