Pro-Ject's flagship moving coil cartridge makes use of a "Special-Elliptical" diamond stylus profile to produce a highly accurate, yet musical, sound performance.

The Pick it MC9

The Pick it MC9 boasts a Special-Elliptical diamond stylus profile, unique to Pro-Ject, which is actually based on a super fine-line shape. The profile shape digs deep into the record groove for excellent detail retrieval. The stylus is then bonded to a cryogenically treated aluminium cantilever. This treatment process helps the cantilever become even more rigid and improves its grip of the attached diamond. 

MC9 Technology

Internally, the Pick it MC9 makes use of ARMCO's top-quality Telar 57 pure iron pole pieces in the magnet system and 6N LC copper coils. The result is a 0.35mV output that any capable MC-appropriate phono stage can handle with ease. 

Unique Design

Externally, the Pick it MC9 boasts an aluminium cartridge body, anodized in an elegant black finish. The clear, expertly machined contours help with cartridge alignment and installation is easy thanks to the standard 1/2" mounting sockets on the top panel. The included stylus guard helps keep the cantilever and diamond protected when the cartridge is not in use.
